Programmer Analyst II, Relay Product Excellence Agentic Solutions

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Programmer Analyst II to join our Agentic Solutions team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation workflows that transform complex operational process into AI agents. You'll define technical requirements for agentic systems, build scalable bot infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement across compliance and verification workflows through AI-powered solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders across operations and product, you'll identify automation opportunities, measure agent performance, and architect process improvements that reduce manual intervention and operational risk.

Key job responsibilities

1. Agentic Systems Development & Technical Execution-

• Design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation workflows using Python, SQL, and cloud-native services (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Bedrock, Agent core)
• Build and optimize agentic bot infrastructure that processes complex operational processes across compliance and verification workflows
• Implement rule-based detection engines, anomaly identification, and automated decision-making pipelines
• Develop automated monitoring systems, daily scorecards, and real-time alerting mechanisms integrated with RPA platforms
• Ensure data integrity through automated validation checks, upstream issue flagging, and pipeline health monitoring
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards with summarized visuals to track bot performance, success rates, and operational metrics globally

2. Problem Solving & Intelligent Automation Designc-

• Decompose ambiguous operational challenges into structured automation opportunities with minimal guidance
• Evaluate and distinguish between rule-based automation (deterministic) and AI-driven agentic approaches based on use-case complexity
• Conduct root-cause analysis and diagnostic investigations to identify systemic gaps in bot infrastructure and upstream processes
• Design intelligent escalation paths and exception-handling logic within agentic workflows
• Navigate uncertainty in poorly defined problem spaces and propose scalable automation solutions

3. Stakeholder Communication & Requirements Management

• Translate complex technical automation concepts into clear business narratives for leaders up to three levels above.
• Proactively communicate project status, pipeline health, risks, and blockers to reset expectations with stakeholders
• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews and automation impact assessments to senior management

4. Project Delivery & Execution

• Scope, architect, and deliver end-to-end automation projects across multiple teams with minimal supervision
• Manage development timelines, sprint commitments, and proactively identify risks to deliverables
• Deliver production-ready, well-documented code and automation workflows that meet quality and reliability standards
• Incorporate engineering best practices including code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD integration
• Balance tradeoffs between development speed, solution robustness, and operational risk

6. Process Improvement & Strategic Contribution

• Identify transformational automation opportunities in areas heavily dependent on human resources with significant operational and financial risk

7. Team Development & Technical Leadership

• Mentor and develop junior programmers on automation best practices, code quality, and agentic design patterns.
• Participate in recruiting and technical interviewing for the team
• Share knowledge through documentation, SOPs, and optimization of analytical and engineering best practices
• Build trust through consistent delivery, proven business impact, and measurable automation outcomes

About the team

The RPE Agentic Solutions team builds and scales intelligent automation systems that safeguard Transaction Integrity across Identity Verification, Account Support, and Compliance workflows for Carrier and Driver processes. Operating at the intersection of risk management, regulatory compliance, and AI-driven operations, we design agentic solutions that reduce manual intervention, minimize operational risk, and ensure the integrity and reliability of critical verification processes at scale - partnering with product and technology teams to transform human-dependent workflows into scalable, automated systems.
