iFOREST is supporting MNRE (Ministry of Renewable Energy) in implementing theCity Accelerator Programunder the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, aimed at scaling rooftop solar (RTS) adoption in urban areas. As part of this initiative, the following cities in Assam and Odisha have been selected-Assam: (Johrat, Tinsukia, Dhimaji, Golaghat, Cachar)
Odisha:- (Jaypore, Raurkela, Jharsuguda, Balangir)
We are seeking dynamic professionals to serve as City Anchors, each based in one of the selected cities. The anchors will act as key coordinators for the program implementation at the city level and will facilitate stakeholder engagement, adoption of RTS systems, and local capacity building.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Environment, Public Policy, Urban Development, or related fields.
Duration: Contractual position (initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Compensation:Commensurate with experience and as per organizational norms
