Role Overview

As the Program Manager, you will own the overall delivery of satellite programs (e.g., SAT-2, Mission Drishti, and upcoming missions) from concept to launch readiness. You’ll coordinate across cross‑functional teams — engineering, supply chain, testing, compliance, and mission ops — to ensure every milestone aligns with technical, financial, and schedule objectives.

You will report directly to the Director – Tech Ops and act as the single point of accountability for schedule adherence, inter‑team coordination, and program health reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end program execution across multiple satellite projects — from system design to AIT, launch prep, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain Program Plans, WBS, Gantt Charts, and Milestone Trackers across teams.
• Coordinate with Project Managers (PMs) and Technical Project Leads (TPMs) to integrate subsystem and payload timelines into the overall mission plan.
• Conduct regular Program Reviews (internal/external) and track action closure.
• Manage program‑level budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations.
• Identify risks and interdependencies; ensure proactive mitigation and escalation as needed.
• Interface with SCM, QA, Tech Compliance, and Partnerships teams for synchronized progress.
• Present concise program health updates to leadership and Founders.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, or Systems).
• Master’s in Management/Program Management or PMP/PRINCE2 Certification (preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Program/Systems Management within Aerospace, Defense, or Satellite domains.

Skills & Requirements

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in project management, preferably in aerospace, satellite, or high‑tech engineering domains. Strong understanding of space‑borne system development cycles and integration processes.
• Exceptional client‑facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Excel, Jira, Smart sheets, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work methodically and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with space borne or satellite systems is a strong advantage.
