Quest Alliance in Ranchi, Jharkhand is seeking a Program Coordinator, Schools Program to lead school transformation initiatives. You will enable teacher-led delivery, strengthen government partnerships, and drive data-informed decision making across districts.

The role emphasizes end-to-end IH and Career program implementation, capacity building for teachers and Master Trainers, and strong stakeholder engagement, with a focus on scalable impact in 3 priority districts.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of teaching, mentoring, or education program delivery.
• Proven experience working with government stakeholders.
• Strong skills in training delivery, communication, and report writing.
• Willingness to travel frequently within districts.
• Fluency in Kannada (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Prior exposure to STEM mindset, computational thinking or critical thinking approaches in education would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead Program Delivery & Implementation Excellence across 3 priority Districts and the PM shri schools; drive end-to-end IH & Career activities across 3 districts (Deoghar, Dumka, Ramgarh).
• Plan and execute IH in 248 PM shri schools with milestones and timely data submission.
• Coordinate trainings, workshops, reviews, events and field visits.
• Conduct regular field visits and implementation reviews to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Coordinate logistics and operational requirements for program activities.
• Escalate risks and major challenges to the SPM in a timely manner.
• Foster collaboration, learning and respectful communication within the team.
• StrengthenTeacher Adoption & Capacity Building; design and facilitate capacity-building, mentoring, and support for teachers and MTs.
• Track implementation journey from teacher prep to student showcase; engage MTs via virtual reviews and calls.
• Develop engagement and follow-up mechanisms with MTs; support planning teacher support and troubleshooting.

Program Coordinator, Schools Program

Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand

Role Purpose

Lead the implementation, adoption, and scale-up of Quest Alliance’s school transformation initiatives across the state by enabling teacher-led delivery, through the MT cascade model ,strengthening government partnerships, driving data-informed decision-making, and ensuring operational excellence. The role is accountable for achieving program outcomes, maintaining implementation quality, stewarding stakeholder relationships, and building a high-performing team aligned with Quest Alliance’s mission and values.

A key responsibility of the role will be to manage the entire Ideathon & Hackathon and strengthen the MT cascade model so that MTs are able to effectively support teachers and teachers are able to compete there IH journey through BOT & independently facilitate the Ideathon and Hackathon journey with students.

The Coordinator will use data, field insights and regular implementation reviews to identify gaps, solve operational challenges and improve the quality and scale of implementation.

The role will work closely with the Senior Program Manager, district teams, Learning Experience, M&E and government stakeholders and will provide implementation support to the Career intervention in Ramgarh.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Program Delivery & Implementation Excellence across 3 priority Districts and the PM shri schools. Drive end-to-end implementation of IH & Career program activities across 3 priority districts , Deoghar , Dumka and Ramgarh. Ensuring quality, timelines, and achievement of outcomes.
• Responsible for end to end planning to implementation of IH in 248 PM shri schools
• Responsible for the planning and execution of onground implementation plan delivery milestones, and timely data submission for the L3 & L4 reviews.
• Conduct regular field visits and implementation reviews to assess effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support planning of trainings, workshops, reviews, events and field visits.
• Coordinate logistics and operational requirements for program activities.
• Escalate risks, delays and major implementation challenges to the SPM in a timely manner.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning and respectful communication within the team.
• Enable Teacher Adoption & Capacity Building. Strengthen teacher and Master Trainer (MT) engagement to ensure successful program adoption and scale. Design and facilitate capacity-building, mentoring, and support mechanisms for teachers, MTs, and team members. Track the complete implementation journey from teacher preparation and student orientation to idea generation, project development, mentoring, submission and showcase. Develop regular engagement and follow-up mechanisms with MTs through virtual reviews, calls, WhatsApp groups and other appropriate platforms. Support MTs in planning teacher support, troubleshooting implementation challenges and following up on school-level progress. Promote recognition, motivation, and evidence-based implementation practices among teachers.
• Build Government Partnerships & Drive Ecosystem Engagement. Support district-level coordination with education department officials, PM SHRI stakeholders, schools and other relevant government stakeholders. Build positive working relationships with district education officials, MTs, school leaders and teachers. Develop and sustain strategic relationships with government education departments and key stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison for district level engagement, advocacy, and coordination. Represent Quest Alliance in education forums, collaborative platforms, and stakeholder meetings. Strengthen the organisation's visibility and influence by positioning Quest Alliance as a thought leader in future skills and school transformation. Coordinate government-supported training, meetings, venues, events and other implementation requirements. Represent Quest Alliance in relevant district-level meetings and forums as required.
• Drive Monitoring, Learning & Data-Informed Decision Making. Ensure robust monitoring systems, data quality, and adherence to program reporting frameworks. Analyse implementation data and insights to guide operational decisions and continuous improvement. Review data regularly to identify gaps and take corrective action. Lead documentation of best practices, impact stories, and program learnings. Ensure timely and high-quality donor, government, and internal reporting.
• Ensure Operational & Financial Stewardship. Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution to ensure operational effectiveness. Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenditure tracking, and financial compliance. Ensure donor commitments, project deliverables, and reporting obligations are met. Strengthen coordination, review, and governance processes across program operations.
• Uphold Organisational Excellence & Team Growth. Ensure adherence to organisational policies, systems, processes, and compliance requirements. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. Support performance management, employee engagement, and professional development. Take ownership of personal learning goals while fostering growth and capability development across the team.

Required Experiences & Skills

• 4-5 years’ experience in teaching, mentoring, or education program delivery

Salary

The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 60,000/- per month (cost to company). The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate
