Job summary

Vitality Healthcare in India seeks a Professor of Pediatrics to lead undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, conduct clinical care in the NICU/PICU and other pediatric units, and oversee research activities within the department.

The candidate must hold MD or DNB in Pediatrics, with at least three years of experience as Associate Professor, and meet NMC publication criteria. Registration with the state medical council or NMC is required.

Qualifications

Job Purpose

To lead undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, conduct clinical research, and oversee clinical care in the Pediatrics OPD, IPD, and Intensive Care Units (NICU/PICU).

Core Responsibilities

• Academic & Teaching: Deliver lectures, seminars, clinical bedside teaching, and practical demonstrations for MBBS and MD/DNB Pediatrics students.
• Clinical Care: Provide inpatient, outpatient, and round‑the‑clock emergency care, including NICU/PICU patient management.
• Research & Guidance: Guide postgraduate thesis work, publish research in indexed journals, and foster department research activities.
• Administration & Compliance: Oversee department operations, participate in college committees, and ensure adherence to NMC (National Medical Commission) norms and inspections.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility
