Job summary

Everbridge Kolkata offers a remote-capable Professional Service Consultant role focused on leading deployments, integrations, and client success across critical communications solutions.

You will work with customers and internal teams to tailor deployments, demonstrate REST APIs, provide training, and respond to RFIs/RFPs, with occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software sales and services experience in a client-facing role.
• Working knowledge of hosted applications, high availability, security, telephony, and networking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience responding to RFIs/RFPs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead for large solution deployments.
• Define field customisations and provide integration specs for third-party systems.
• Demonstrate REST API and explain product capabilities to clients.
• Provide training and assemble support materials.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with functional and technical details.
• Deliver professional implementation and client support services.
• Set up new clients and configure systems.
• Train clients to use the application and ensure smooth adoption.
• Document client interactions in the CRM and communicate status to clients.
• Act as the client’s technical advocate within the company.
• Occasional after-hours/on-call availability during significant events.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a technical lead in support of large solution deployments
• Scoping field customisations and delivering functional specifications for integrations to third party systems
• Demonstrating Everbridge REST API and answering detailed technical questions about product capability and delivery infrastructure
• Providing training and producing support material as required
• Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Provide professional implementation and support services to clients resulting in smooth, well-coordinated implementations
• Perform new client set up and configuration
• Effectively and efficiently train new clients to use the application
• Provide support services, develop solutions and educate clients in the various stages of the product implementation cycle
• Document all client calls, emails and any other communication and enter the information into the Client Care CRM (salesforce.com)
• Ensure proper and consistent communication of status to the client
• Review and understand client use cases to understand the client’s business, successfully integrating client needs with product offerings and solutions.
• Act as the client’s technical advocate within the company
• Occasional after hours and weekend availability to support on-call schedule during significant events

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in software sales and services in a field facing engineering capacity
• Working knowledge of Internet hosted applications, highly available architectures, computer security, telephony, and networking
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced, team environment while managing multiple competing priorities
• Ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) including experience responding to RFIs/RFPs
• Highly organized and driven by success, achievement and recognition
• Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and persuasive confidence
• Strong time management skills with proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com and web based applications
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or similar would be a plus)
