• Maintain housekeeping and follow 5S in the work area.
• Learn and improve technical and operational skills under supervision.

Job Description As a Trainee - Machine Shop, you will support daily shopfloor operations and learn core manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production team under supervision, gaining hands‑on experience in machine operations, quality checks, and safety practices. This is an onsite role based in Kancheepuram, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day machine shop operations
• Operate and support machines such as punching, drilling, tapping, and powder coating
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow safety guidelines
• Support production targets related to quality and productivity
• Support basic machine setup, measurement, and inspection activities
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow 5S practices in the work area
• Learn and improve technical and operational skills under supervision

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any degree (with willingness to work in machine shop)
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts
• Willingness to work in a shopfloor/production environment
• Ability to work in shifts, if required

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Exposure to conventional machining processes (drilling, tapping, punching, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection methods
