Job summary

Baker Hughes in India is seeking a Production Technologist to own multi-disciplinary projects, provide segment analyses and lead design activities using proven technologies. You will work independently and in diverse teams, write and present industry papers, and communicate cross-technology solutions to senior leaders and clients.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in engineering/technology (petroleum or production focus preferred), and proficiency with PROSPER, NETool, PIPESIM,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of Engineering/Technology experience, geoscience or petroleum background preferred.
• Experience communicating with clients about discipline applications.
• Proficiency with industry software PROSPER, NETool, PIPESIM, Eclipse, InterSECT, OLGA is advantageous.
• Experience in multiple regional petroleum basins and geological settings.

As a Production Technologist, you will be contributing your production technology expertise to multi-disciplinary projects.

As a Production Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing segment related analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best in Class solutions for the client.
• Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
• Working both independently and as part of diversified teams. Writing and presenting industry papers and publications.
• Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect/contribute to overall strategy.
• Connecting the dots across technologies and developing cross-technology solutions. Working on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
• Recognizing as a key contact to the customer for a product/service or set of products/services. Understanding the market size and challenges.
• Acting as the local focal point for development, implementation, or optimization of of a deliverable, service, technology, workflow or process.
• Assisting with authoring training content and/or facilitating formal internal training courses.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least a Bachelor from an accredited school. Master or Doctor is an advantage.
• Have at least 10 years' experience in Engineering/Technology. Geo-services or Subsurface or Petroleum Engineering or Production Engineering background is welcomed.
• Have demonstrated working knowledge of discipline topics (Production Technology or Petroleum Engineering) and ability to speak with clients about discipline applications.
• Have demonstrate proficiency in discipline related software PROSPER, NETool, PIPESIM, EClipse, InterSECT, OLGA is an advantage.
• Have working experience in multiple regional petroleum basins/provinces and understand their geological settings and reservoir complexities.
• Be a good team player and display good communication and problem-solving skills
• Be able to communicate in fluent English.
