Wipro Limited is seeking a Manager - Project Management & Financial Operations to lead Tax Compliance and related finance operations from our Pune center. You will drive program governance, stakeholder management, and oversight across jurisdictions to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in Tax/Finance, Big 4 exposure, and professional qualifications (MBA/CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA/CFA). PMP is highly preferred and you will mentor a high-performing team.

Qualificações

• 8-10 years of experience across Tax Compliance, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Finance & Accounting, Audit, or Project Management/PMO.
• Experience managing global stakeholders, external tax advisors, auditors, fund administrators, and service providers.
• Exposure to process transformation, migrations, transitions, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to provide effective technical support to the process and actively resolve client issues directly or through timely escalation to meet process SLAs.

We are looking for an experiencedManager - Project Management & Financial Operations to join our Centre of Excellence supporting a leadingAlternative Asset Management firm.

This role will support the Tax Compliance function, with a strong focus on operational delivery, project/program management, governance, stakeholder management, and oversight of compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.

• What we’re looking for:
  • 8-10 years of experience across Tax Compliance, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Finance & Accounting, Audit, or Project Management/PMO
  • Strong project/program management and operational leadership experience
  • Experience managing global stakeholders, external tax advisors, auditors, fund administrators, and service providers
  • Exposure to process transformation, migrations, transitions, and continuous improvement
  • Strong people management and team leadership capabilities
  • Experience in Asset Management, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments, Fund Administration, Financial Services, Shared Services, or GCC environments preferred
  • Big 4 experience at some stage of the career is mandatory
  • MBA / CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • PMP certification is highly preferred

• Deliver excellent customer service through effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of client queries
  • Provide product support and resolution to clients by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions
  • Assist clients with navigating around product menus and facilitate better understanding of product features
  • Troubleshoot all client queries in a user-friendly, courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain logs and records of all customer queries as per the standard procedures and guidelines
  • Accurately process and record all incoming call and email using the designated tracking software
  • Offer alternative solutions to clients (where appropriate) with the objective of retaining customers and clients business
  • Organize ideas and effectively communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers to record feedback and ensure compliance to contract /SLAs

• Build capability to ensure operational excellence and maintain superior customer service levels of the existing account/client
  • Undertake product trainings to stay current with product features, changes and updates
  • Enroll in product specific and any other trainings per client requirements/recommendations
  • Partner with team leaders to brainstorm and identify training themes and learning issues to better serve the client
  • Update job knowledge by participating in self learning opportunities and maintaining personal networks
