Job summary

Italia Group in Gujarat, India, is seeking a Glass Mosaic Manager with 5–10 years of manufacturing experience to lead production planning, oversee the glass mosaic process, and drive efficiency. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in glass/mosaic/tiles/ceramics manufacturing.
• Experience in production planning, manpower management, quality control and machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Manage the complete glass mosaic production process from raw material to dispatch.
• Ensure targets are met on time and within budget.
• Monitor quality and minimize rejection, wastage and losses.
• Maintain and utilize machines, tools, and production equipment.
• Oversee manpower allocation, attendance, shifts, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC and Dispatch.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and packing materials.
• Identify problems and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards and customer specs.
• Implement 5S, housekeeping and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure safety rules and PPE usage.
• Train and develop production staff and supervisors.
• Investigate customer complaints related to production quality and take action.
• Monitor machine efficiency, yield and overall productivity.

Job Description

To manage and control the complete glass mosaic manufacturing process, ensuring production targets, product quality, manpower utilization, safety, cost control, and timely dispatch are achieved as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Manage the complete glass mosaic production process, including raw material preparation, cutting, forming, finishing, sorting, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time and cost.
• Monitor product quality and reduce rejection, wastage, and production losses.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of machines, tools, and production equipment.
• Manage manpower allocation, attendance, shift planning, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC, and Dispatch departments.
• Ensure availability and proper utilization of raw materials and packing materials.
• Identify production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain production records, reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
• Implement 5S, housekeeping, productivity improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure all employees follow safety rules and use appropriate PPE.
• Train and develop production employees and supervisors.

Qualification & Experience

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting systems.
