Job summary

Technip Energies is seeking a Production Engineer/Production Manager for its MMY Dahej operating center to plan, coordinate, and control fabrication and production activities on static equipment such as vessels, tanks, and storage equipment. You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in line with project requirements and standards.

The role involves coordinating with design, engineering, quality, procurement, and project teams to meet delivery targets and maintain productivity

Qualifications

  • Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and static equipment manufacturing.

Job Purpose

The Production Engineer / Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling fabrication and production activities in the shop floor and yard for static equipment manufacturing, including vessels, pressure vessels, tanks, and storage equipment. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of fabrication work in line with project specifications, schedule requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities in the fabrication shop and yard.
  • Ensure timely execution of fabrication, assembly, welding, testing, and dispatch activities.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, quality, procurement, and project teams to meet delivery targets.
  • Review production priorities and allocate manpower, machines, and materials effectively.
  • Oversee shop floor and yard operations for static equipment fabrication.
  • Monitor fabrication of pressure vessels, process vessels, storage tanks, columns, drums, and related equipment.
  • Ensure proper utilization of resources, tools, and equipment at the fabrication site.
  • Maintain productivity, work discipline, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, shop safety procedures, and environmental standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the production team.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for NCRs, deviations, rework, and production delays.
  • Maintain compliance with quality systems and customer requirements.
  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly production status.
  • Maintain records of progress, productivity, material consumption, rework, and delays.
  • Prepare MIS reports, production dashboards, and schedule updates for management.
  • Support audits and customer inspections with required production documentation.
Qualifications
  • Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and static equipment manufacturing.
