Job summary

TNS Heavy Engineering in Chennai invites a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will assist the in-charge, ensure availability of materials at each workstation, and monitor hourly output to meet daily targets.

You'll also report machine breakdowns and quality issues promptly to minimize downtime, and help prepare shift-end production logs and reports to keep production records accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the respective in-charge in day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
• Check that workstations have all required raw materials and parts before the work starts.
• Monitor hourly production output to ensure the team hits the daily target.
• Report any machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor immediately to minimize downtime.
• Help prepare daily production reports, logs, and paperwork at the end of each shift
