Job summary

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with strong experience in data analysis, querying, reporting, and data validation across cloud and database platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on knowledge of Snowflake, Azure platform services, and Oracle databases, with the ability to analyze complex datasets, support data‑driven decision‑making, and work closely with business and technical stakeholders. Experience with ServiceNow, Agile methodologies, and ITIL processes is required, while knowledge of Apache Airflow will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and validate data from multiple sources to support reporting, operational insights, and business decision‑making.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries across Snowflake and Oracle databases.
• Work with Azure platform services to support data extraction, transformation, integration, storage, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data engineering, application support, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver accurate analytical outputs.
• Perform data quality checks, identify anomalies, investigate root causes, and coordinate remediation with relevant teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for data mappings, business rules, data lineage, reporting logic, and operational procedures.
• Support incident, request, change, and problem management processes using ServiceNow.
• Follow ITIL-aligned processes for service management, operational support, change governance, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to provide timely updates, track action items, and ensure delivery commitments are met.
• Assist in monitoring data workflows and support scheduled data processing activities where applicable.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in data analysis, SQL querying, data profiling, and data validation.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, including querying, data warehouse concepts, performance‑aware SQL, and data analysis use cases.
• Working knowledge of Azure platform services used in data environments, such as Azure Data Factory, or related services.
• Experience working with Oracle databases, including SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, views, and data troubleshooting.
• Experience using ServiceNow for incident management, request handling, change tracking, and operational support workflows.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodology and ability to work effectively in sprint‑based environments.
• Good understanding of ITIL concepts, including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical findings to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, documentation skills, and problem‑solving ability.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, DAG monitoring, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines, batch processing, and data integration frameworks.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, access controls, and compliance‑driven reporting environments.
• Experience working in production support or managed services environments.
