Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a seasoned risk management professional in India to ensure risk KPIs align with approved budgets and to proactively manage credit risk policies. The role involves policy development, collaboration with analytics for portfolio monitoring, and leading risk management initiatives within the 1st line.

The incumbent will support banking relationships and internal controls. Location: Maharashtra, Goregaon.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Annual Risk KPIs are met according to budgets.
• Review and update Credit Risk Policies as required.
• Assess emerging risks and implement policy changes when needed.
• Support business teams to achieve volume targets while controlling risk KPIs.
• Assist audit processes and close points satisfactorily.
• Coordinate with analytics for management dashboards and portfolio monitoring.
• Develop and maintain risk policy and center of expertise within 1st line risk management.

Job Description:

Key Result Areas (Max 1325 Characters)

Supporting Actions(Max 1325 Characters)

• Ensuring Annual Risk KPIs are met according to management approved budgets
• Take corrective action when KPIs are not meeting set expectations
• Review existing Credit Risk Polices and recommend changes to meet business / risk requirements
• Pro-actively asses the emerging risks within business lines and take corrective action whenever required in terms of adequate policy changes
• Support business teams in achieving business volumes by policy & process led interventions while keeping the Risk KPIs in control
• Aid conduct of audit (statutory/internal/operational risk etc) and help closure of points to satisfaction without any adverse comments
• Trigger monitoring and control for strategic partnerships and health of fintech partners
• Co-ordinate with analytics for preparation of various management dashboards and tools for portfolio monitoring
• Establish, implement and manage risk policy and control frameworks, ensuring that minimum standards, ownership and operation are clearly documented and communicated across the company.
• Develop, lead and maintain a center of expertise within 1st line risk management

Check Account Conduct

• Account conduct of the borrower with other lender to be checked.
• Conduct of account of the borrower with the debtors and creditors.

RAG classification & Action

• Detailed RAG review to be done & Following action to be taken: by Credit and Business & Credit monitoring team, to be Circulated & presented to CRO- Policy Team publish overall outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

Team Attrition & Hiring

• Support the Lead in all hiring and ensuring that all hiring is completed as per budgeted numbers and timelines.
• Ensure attrition levels in the team is within the planned target for the year.
• The role also involves training of credit and business teams and alignment with the organizational goals set for the Secured/unsecured line of business.

Develop Design of Experiments (DOES)

• Build DOEs to support business vol. and geographical growth in areas which are currently untested
• Monitor DOEs in-terms of business volume offtake/ early bounce rates / early delinquency rates to measure effectiveness and any possible conversion to regular policy
