Job summary

MonoEdge is seeking a Product Owner for the Business Brain to own the roadmap and act as the main liaison between customers and the engineering team in Pune, India. You will prioritise work to maximize customer value and business impact, and translate customer needs into clear specifications for delivery.

You will gather requirements from plant leadership and operations teams, define acceptance criteria, and ensure a structured feedback loop from pilots and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, management, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Ability to gather requirements from business users and translate into structured specifications.
• Comfort working with data and engaging with technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with good documentation practices.
• Fluency in English with Marathi or Hindi; willingness to travel occasionally.

Position summary

As Product Owner for the Business Brain, you own the product roadmap and act as the principal interface between customers and the engineering team.

You own prioritisation, requirement definition, and acceptance of delivered functionality — and you are accountable for ensuring that the product addresses real customer needs and business objectives.

What you'll own

• The roadmap and backlog — own and maintain them, prioritising work on the basis of customer value and business impact.
• Requirements — elicit and validate them from customers, including plant leadership and operations teams, and translate them into clear specifications.
• Acceptance — define acceptance criteria for each deliverable and review completed work against them.
• The engineering partnership — work closely with the team throughout the development cycle, clarifying scope and resolving open questions.
• The feedback loop — maintain a structured loop from live deployments and pilot customers back into product planning.
• Commercial readiness — support leadership with inputs on product positioning and packaging, and keep documentation, release notes, and internal reference material current.

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, management, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a comparable role.
• A demonstrated ability to gather requirements from business users and convert them into structured specifications.
• Comfort working with data, and the ability to engage substantively with technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with a disciplined approach to documentation.
• Language and travel: professional fluency in English, together with Marathi or Hindi, and a willingness to undertake occasional travel to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Exposure to B2B enterprise software, the manufacturing or industrial sector, or AI and data products.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices.
• Prior domain knowledge of manufacturing processes is not a prerequisite for this role.
