Job summary

Indexnine is seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive product initiatives, manage backlogs, translate business requirements into actionable user stories, and lead cross-functional pods. The role supports US client engagements and requires evening IST calls.

The ideal candidate brings 5–6 years of product ownership experience, strong Agile delivery skills, and a track record in logistics-related domains, with excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in product backlog management, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to support US time-zone collaboration as required by project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead backlog refinement and collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure requirements are delivery-ready.
• Manage scope changes, clarify requirements, and facilitate timely product decisions.
• Drive Product Delivery Pods (PODs) against the established roadmap, priorities, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, QA, and delivery teams to track progress and ensure timely execution.
• Identify and resolve delivery blockers, risks, and dependencies proactively.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, as required.
• Support UAT, release readiness, and validation of delivered features against acceptance criteria.
• Work directly with US-based clients to understand requirements, align priorities, and communicate delivery progress.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, requirement reviews, and sprint demos while documenting key decisions and action items.
• Manage evolving stakeholder expectations and maintain alignment across client and internal teams.
• Be comfortable supporting US client engagements during evening hours, with stakeholder calls typically scheduled between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM IST, as required.

Job Title: Product Owner (PO)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with 56 years of experience driving product initiatives, preferably in the US logistics, moving and packing, freight, or related domains.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with US clients, managing product backlogs, translating business requirements into actionable user stories, and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against an established product roadmap.

You will be responsible for driving Product Delivery Pods (PODs), ensuring alignment on priorities, managing dependencies, and enabling timely, high-quality delivery. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills and flexibility to support US client calls during evening hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Backlog Management
