Job Summary

The Product Owner will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the product development teams. This role will involve gathering and analysing business requirements, defining product features, creating user stories, and ensuring the successful delivery of products. You will be responsible for prioritizing features, defining the product roadmap, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision & Strategy
    • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure alignment with the overall business objectives.
    • Identify key customer pain points, business opportunities, and market trends to guide product development.
  • Backlog Management
    • Develop and prioritize the product backlog based on business needs, stakeholder input, and customer feedback.
    • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation to ensure clear communication of product features.
    • Ensure that the development team understands the requirements and business context behind each feature.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with the development team, UX/UI designers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality product releases.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives).
    • Ensure product features are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with user expectations.
  • Continuous Product Improvement
    • Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
    • Leverage A/B testing, user feedback, and analytics to iterate on product features and drive ongoing enhancements.
    • Ensure that the product aligns with customer needs and evolves in response to market changes and user feedback.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage with customers, end-users, and business stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure the product meets user needs.
    • Present product updates, roadmap progress, and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a similar role in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in gathering and analysing business requirements and managing product backlogs.
  • Strong experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proficiency with product management and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories and requirements.
  • Understanding of business processes and how they translate into product features.
