Job description

Voice Arena builds frontier evals, models and datasets for voice AI. Our mission is to make machines talk like humans, and to measure honestly how close they are.

We run public leaderboards for speech to text, text to speech, speech to speech and speaker diarization, with many more yet to come. Labs, voice platforms and enterprises use them to see how speech models perform on real speech, in real conditions and across languages, rather than on clean read audio.

Behind the boards is a research and engineering team that builds its own datasets, trains the models that keep its evaluations accurate and publishes its methods. What sets us apart:

  • Research that gets published. Three papers at Interspeech 2026, where Voice Arena is also the Diamond Sponsor. Our methods go through peer review, not just a blog post.
  • Partners across the field. We brought Hindi and Indian English to Hugging Face's Open ASR Leaderboard, and we partner with NVIDIA. Model providers send us new models for public and private evaluation.
  • Data nobody else has. Monsoon, our dataset initiative for the Global South, is working towards 1,000 languages by 2027. Our accented English corpus covers 8 accents and 6,000 hours. This data gives us held‑out test sets that models have not seen in training.
  • A research community. Voice Research Club runs paper‑first sessions for voice AI researchers, starting in San Francisco and New York, with more cities to follow.
About the role

Voice Arena's boards are only as useful as the people who see them. When a new speech model launches, the right researcher, founder or AI leader should hear what our evals say about it within a day. Today that depends on a few people posting when they can. We want it to be a system.

We're hiring a Product Ops & Growth lead to own how Voice Arena reaches the people who matter: the researchers who build speech models, the founders and engineers who ship voice products, and the AI and data leaders who decide which models their companies buy. You will scale our presence on X and LinkedIn, and find new ways to put our leaderboards, benchmarks and datasets in front of the right people.

The core question for this role is simple: does everyone who builds, ships or buys voice AI know what Voice Arena says about the models they care about?

This is a highly autonomous role. You'll work directly with the founders and the research team, sitting between the product and its audience. Growth here is not about follower counts for their own sake. It is about reaching the right people, and that is how you will be measured.

In this role, you will
The work runs as one loop: know who we need to reach, get our work in front of them, learn what lands, and feed it back into the product:
  • Map the people we need to reach. Build and keep current the lists of who matters: speech and voice researchers at model labs, founders and engineers at voice platforms, and AI and data leaders at enterprises that buy voice AI. Know who they follow, where they spend time and what they share.
  • Scale Voice Arena on X. Own our X presence end to end: leaderboard updates, benchmark launches, threads and charts. Make sure most major voice AI model launches are covered on our boards within a day of release, and that the right people see it.
  • Scale Voice Arena on LinkedIn. Grow our company page and the founders' presence, and run targeted promotion so our posts reach researchers at labs, teams at voice platforms and AI leaders at large enterprises.
  • Run launches. Plan and ship every release, from new leaderboards and benchmarks to datasets and papers: timing, founder posts, threads, visuals, and the follow‑up that keeps a launch alive after day one.
  • Build distribution beyond our own accounts. Work with creators, researchers and partners who already have the audience we need, so our results travel through voices people trust.
  • Run product ops. Keep the boards fresh and the site sharp: track new model releases, work with the research team on what gets evaluated next, and turn audience feedback into changes on voicearena.com.

In a typical week, you might:

  • Track every voice AI model launch and get our results out the same day
  • Plan and schedule a benchmark launch thread with the research team
  • Build a target list of voice researchers and AI leaders, and set up a LinkedIn campaign to reach them
  • Brief a group of creators on a new leaderboard and coordinate their posts
  • Look at who each post reached and who engaged, and change next week's plan
What matters most

Everything in the loop serves two outcomes. They are how this role will be measured.

1. Reaching the right people

Reach only matters if it is the right reach. A post seen by a million people who will never build or buy a speech model is worth less than one seen by the hundred people who do. Your job is to make sure Voice Arena is in front of those people, consistently. In practice:

  • Know the audience by name. Keep clear, current lists of the researchers, builders and buyers we need, and know which of them already follow us.
  • Measure who, not just how many. Track reach and engagement among the people we target, not just impressions and follower counts.
  • Be first on launches. Be the place people check when a new voice model ships, by getting our results out fast.
  • Earn the reshare. Make posts researchers want to share: clear charts, honest numbers, no hype.
2. Scaling X and LinkedIn into systems

Today a few people post when they can. You'll turn that into a repeatable engine that runs every day, through launches and quiet weeks alike. In practice:

  • Run a calendar. Keep a weekly calendar of leaderboard posts and releases across Voice Arena's accounts and the founders' accounts.
  • Build templates. Create reusable formats for leaderboard updates, launch threads and charts, so quality stays high as volume grows.
  • Spend on reach with intent. Use targeted LinkedIn and X promotion to reach specific groups, and cut whatever does not reach them.
  • Grow a creator network. Build lasting relationships with creators and researchers who regularly cover voice AI.
  • Close the loop. Report what worked each week, and feed what the audience wants back into the product and research roadmap.
What we offer
  • High ownership. Own Voice Arena's reach from day one, with direct access to the founders.
  • A front-row seat. See every new voice model and every result before it goes public.
  • Real impact. Your work decides whether the labs, builders and buyers of voice AI see what our evals say.
  • Room to grow. Build the growth function at an early company and shape how it scales.
  • 2+ years in growth, marketing, community or product ops, ideally at a tech, AI or developer-focused company
  • A track record of growing an audience on X or LinkedIn, for a company or for yourself
  • Strong writing: you can turn a technical result into a clear post, thread or chart caption
  • Comfort with data: you track what each post reached and change course based on it
  • Genuine interest in AI, and the curiosity to learn how speech models are built and evaluated
  • High ownership: you ship without waiting to be told, and you sweat the details
Preferred qualifications

You don't need to match every bullet. Apply even if you meet only some of these.

  • Experience running launches for a technical product, developer tool or AI company
  • Hands‑on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager or X ads and audience targeting
  • An existing network among AI researchers, builders or creators
  • Experience running creator or influencer campaigns
  • Basic design skills for charts and visuals (Figma, Canva or similar)
  • Comfort with outreach and data tools such as Apollo, spreadsheets or simple scripts, and with AI tools that help you move faster
Why join Voice Arena
  • Shape how voice AI gets built. Labs, voice platforms and enterprises use our boards to decide which models to build, ship and buy.
  • See every model first. Work with the newest speech models across languages, often before most of the field has tried them.
  • Grow something with substance. You'll be growing a brand built on real research: papers at Interspeech 2026, a Hugging Face partnership and benchmarks the field checks.
  • Reach the whole world's speech. Our data and evals reach far beyond English, across the wider Global South, so the audience is global.
  • Join early. Join a small, talent‑dense team early, and shape the product, the team and how we grow.
