Job summary

Zinnia, a leader in technology for life and annuities, seeks a techno-functional Product Manager with 5+ years of experience to drive product initiatives, manage integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Based in Dadri, UP, this on-site role emphasizes API-driven product development and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will own the product lifecycle, analyze market needs, design API integrations, and translate business requirements into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree required with 5+ years in Product Management or Business Analysis
• Experience with Life Insurance or Annuity domain
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and API integrations
• Knowledge of technology system interfaces and data integration, networks, and OS
• Experience with business process modelling using decision tables/trees and data flows
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills across all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive and self-motivated
• Experience in BFSI industry across Annuity, mutual funds, or life insurance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to end-to-end product lifecycle processes including research, planning, roadmap development, and product launches
• Analyse market trends, ROI, and build vs. buy scenarios for partnerships
• Identify product gaps by understanding customer experience and drive growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product requirements and transition to commercialization
• Coordinate release dates for new products and maintenance releases
• Develop and execute business/technical solutions; manage API integrations with engineering
• Investigate escalated production issues and document resolutions and preventive measures
• Document business impact, research findings, and long-term preventative actions via incident reports

WHO YOU ARE:

You are a Techno-functional Product Manager with 5+ years of Product Management experience who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. You will be responsible for driving product initiatives, managing integrations, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and impactful solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Contribute into the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
• Analyse consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
• Gain a deep understanding of existing systems, customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Works with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
• Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
• Assist in Developing and executing proposed business and technical solutions. Work with engineering teams to design and manage API integrations across platforms.
• Assist in the research and investigation of escalated production issues and engage teams for resolution
• Document business impact, research and resolution steps and long-term preventative measures via incident reports

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• A Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with 5+ years’ work experience in Product Management or Business Analysis
• Experience with Life Insurance or Annuity domain
• Good technical understanding of Product Development Lifecycle along with API integrations, SQL etc.
• Good understanding of technology system interfaces and data integration, networks, Client/Server and operating systems
• Knowledge of Business Process Modelling using decision tables/trees and data flows, etc.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent relationship management skills with the ability to interact positively and successfully across all levels of associates and managers to meet business needs
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to develop industry-related knowledge
• Analytical, organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter, flexible and motivated
• Great to have experience in BFSI Industry across Annuity, mutual funds, financial services, or life insurance
