Job description

Job Description:

About the role

We're building a brand-facing platform that enables our partner brands to grow on Purplle through operational excellence and data intelligence. The core objective is simple: create real, measurable value for brands operating on our platform — making it easier for them to run their business with us and easier for them to grow it. You'll join as a Product Manager owning a meaningful slice of this platform end-to-end — from problem discovery through launch and adoption — working closely with a small, high-ownership product team and cross-functional stakeholders across the business.

What you'll do
  • Own product areas end-to-end: discovery, PRD writing, design collaboration, build oversight, launch, and adoption.
  • Ground every decision in real data — you'll pull and interpret actual usage, operational, and business data rather than working off assumptions.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional business stakeholders to ship high-quality, brand-facing products.
  • Translate ambiguous, evolving business problems into clear, build-ready specifications.
  • Run a disciplined, iterative delivery cadence — validate direction early, correct fast, and ship surgically once something's approved.
  • Own outcomes, not just output — define what success looks like for your area and instrument for it.
  • Build with an AI-native mindset — actively identify where AI/LLM capabilities can create outsized value for brand users (automation, intelligence, personalization) rather than treating AI as an add-on, and use AI tools yourself to move faster through discovery, spec-writing, prototyping, and analysis.
What we're looking for
  • 3–6 years of B2B product management experience, with genuine end-to-end ownership of a product area — not just feature delivery.
  • Strong first-principles problem-solving — able to break down ambiguous, complex business problems into structured, solvable pieces.
  • Data fluency — comfortable with SQL/analytics tools, sharp about defining the right metrics, and instinctively data-backed in decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write unambiguous, build-ready specs and communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at every level.
  • Proven stakeholder management — able to align cross-functional teams (business, engineering, design, operations) with competing priorities toward a shared outcome.
  • Strong product sense — an eye for what makes a workflow simple and valuable for a non-technical, business-user audience.
  • User empathy — genuine curiosity about the people who'll use what you build, and discipline about validating with them rather than assuming.
  • Systems thinking — comfortable reasoning about platforms with multiple integrated modules, dependencies, and stakeholders rather than isolated features.
  • Bias for action and ownership — you drive things forward independently, escalation the right things, and don't wait to be told.
  • AI-native orientation — genuine fluency and enthusiasm for using AI tools in your own workflow, and a sharp eye for where AI can be embedded into the product itself to create customer value.
  • Prior experience with platform, marketplace, or internal-tooling products is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to enterprise systems
