This role emphasizes AI-native workflows, rapid prototyping with cutting-edge tools, and end-to-end ownership from discovery to delivery.

You will balance speed, accuracy, and trust while translating complex AI research into usable, mission-critical interfaces.

Qualifications

Auric AI is developing the world's most advanced AI-powered vision intelligence platform for defense applications

Defense and military organizations today receive overwhelming volumes of visual data from satellites and drones. Processing this manually is slow, expensive, and error-prone. Our mission is to use AI-powered vision systems to detect and classify high-value military objects such as tanks, artillery, radars, and missile launchers so analysts and commanders can act faster and with greater confidence.

The Role

We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead the development of our Vision Intelligence Platform.

This is not a traditional PM role. You will:

• Think from first principles to design workflows that make AI useful in mission-critical contexts.
• Translate AI research into usable, analyst-facing products.
• Balance speed, trust, and usability when making product decisions.
• Be AI-native using the latest AI tools to build wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and demo flows at speed.
• You will own the end-to-end product experience: defining workflows, designing intuitive screens, prioritizing features, and ensuring analysts receive intelligence they can trust all within minutes of image arrival.

What You’ll Do

• Vision & Roadmap
• Define the product vision and articulate a clear north star for the platform.
• Build and communicate a roadmap balancing near-term MVP delivery with long-term platform growth.
• Workflow & UX Design
• Work with engineers and designers to create intuitive, analyst-ready screens.
• Use AI-powered tools (e.g., Figma plugins, AI prototyping, AI design assistants) to generate wireframes and demo flows rapidly.
• Define MVP scope and ruthlessly separate must-haves from nice-to-haves.
• Make trade-offs between speed-to-decision, detection accuracy, and user trust.
• Execution & Delivery
• Translate requirements into clear PRDs and product specs.
• Drive collaboration between AI researchers, engineers, and domain experts.
• Ensure reliability and quality in product releases.
• User & Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage with analysts, retired officers, and other stakeholders to understand workflows.
• Synthesize fragmented feedback into coherent product direction.
• Metrics & Success
• Define and track success metrics: time-to-insight, adoption, accuracy, and trust in outputs.
• Use feedback and data to iterate rapidly.

What We’re Looking For

• AI-native builder: highly proficient in using AI tools for prototyping, wireframing, and creating demo flows.
• First principles thinker who simplifies complex problems into clear workflows.
• Technical fluency: understand how AI and software systems work, even if you don’t code daily.
• User empathy: can design for non-technical users working under pressure.
• Execution strength: bias for rapid prototyping, iteration, and delivery.
• Communication skills: able to align researchers, engineers, and defense users.
• Prior startup/founder experience or exposure to AI/ML products is a strong plus.
