Job summary

Deltek is seeking a Product Manager for AI-First products in Bengaluru. You will lead product strategy and delivery for AI-driven solutions that transform project-based business processes.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, collaboration with engineering, data science, and GTM teams, and a track record of applying AI to real business problems. You will evaluate AI-enabled opportunities, define success metrics, and champion responsible AI.

About the Role

Product Manager – AI-First Products

We are looking for a Product Manager who naturally approaches problems with an AI-first mindset. This does not mean simply using ChatGPT or adding AI features to products. It means consistently asking:

• Can AI make Product Managers more productive?
• Can AI create a fundamentally better user experience than traditional software?
• Can emerging technologies unlock new business models or product opportunities?

The ideal candidate is highly curious, experiments with new technologies independently, and demonstrates a track record of using AI and automation to solve real business problems.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy

• Define product vision, roadmap, and business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities where AI can create measurable customer value.
• Evaluate build, buy, partner, and AI-enabled alternatives.
• Translate customer problems into product opportunities.

Product Delivery

• Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and GTM teams.
• Define requirements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive prioritization based on customer and business outcomes.
• Measure product adoption, retention, and value realization.

AI & Technology Leadership

• Stay current with AI models, agents, automation platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI internally and externally.
• Champion experimentation and rapid learning.
• Establish frameworks for responsible AI usage and evaluation.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Product Management experience (not mandatory)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with technical teams.
• Experience with AI-enabled products and familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, workflow automation, or machine learning concepts.
