Job summary

Rippling is seeking a seasoned product leader to own the corrections roadmap within our payroll‑centric platform. You will align product, design and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable features and a simple UX on top of a complex data graph.

Work closely with customers to translate pain points into high‑impact opportunities, champion a user‑driven approach, and drive performance at scale for a global customer base from Bengaluru, India, with stakeholders across the world.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, or equivalent founder experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a strong bias toward action.
• Track record of turning complex systems into simple, elegant user experiences.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and align cross-functional teams around ambitious goals.

About The Role

Rippling is building compound software: a unified system where data from across the business is connected through a single graph. Payroll sits at the center of that system and is a key reason customers choose us.

Corrections are an integral concept of the core payroll product. When customers need to change data in the past, it triggers a wave of downstream events across payroll surfaces like tax filings, upcoming pay runs, reports, and employee paystubs.

This presents problems around performance at scale, accuracy, and explainability. We’re looking for a seasoned product leader who can see the forest from the trees, set direction across teams, and deliver a straightforward and performant user experience on top of a complicated technical area.

What You Will Do

• Own roadmap and strategy – Set the vision and own the roadmap for corrections, including how it needs to change and scale to accommodate the ever larger customers Rippling is focused on serving. You’ll champion this strategy, and work with the broader Rippling organization to ensure we build scalable, intuitive, and high reliability products.
• Build Payroll agents – build out the set of correction capabilities that we give payroll agents, and how these capabilities and actions are integrated into existing interfaces.
• Build for scale – Rippling serves both the smallest startups and the largest enterprises. You’ll need to partner closely with design and engineering to figure out how to scale our product capabilities globally and to suit the scale of large enterprises.
• Build the core user experience – As the product expands globally and to larger customers, we need to consider performance at scale, as well as maintaining a simple user experience. You’ll need to appreciate the complexity and deliver intuitive and simplified experiences to customers.
• Stay close to customers – Work directly with customers to deeply understand operational pain points related to corrections to identify high impact opportunities.
