Job summary

Arcesium is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the financial reporting solutions for hedge funds and asset managers from our Hyderabad-Gurgaon offices. You will define the product vision, gather client feedback, and translate requirements into a clear roadmap while collaborating with engineering and other stakeholders.

You have 6+ years in product management, strong analytical skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality financial software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall experience with minimum 2+ years in product management.
• Experience in financial reporting for hedge funds or alternative asset managers.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, and hedge fund regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical skills to mine counterparty statements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented individual to join the Product Management Group in our Hyderabad or Gurgaon office. This group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the process lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms’ infrastructure and new middle-and-back-office applications.

This position offers opportunity to define and design the next generation of products on our platform, which is used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world; and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

What You’ll Do

• Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for financial reporting solutions aligning with overall company goals and market opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback gathering to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new product opportunities within the financial reporting space.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on strategic value, market demand, and technical feasibility.
• Work closely with the engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification to design, and then to the product itself
• Rigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight by leveraging the created test cases/beds and ensure compliance to the product/feature specification and the vision
• Be involved in conducting competitor analysis
• Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets and communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, etc.
• Work with other product managers for projects cutting across multiple business areas to provide comprehensive business solutions

What You’ll Need

• 6+ years of overall experience working and minimum 2+ year experience in products management
• Demonstrated experience with financial reporting for hedge funds or other alternative asset managers.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, Fund accounting and regulatory requirements specific to hedge funds.
• Proficiency in Excel along with strong analytical skills to mine counterparty statements
• Experience in working closely with engineering teams
• Outstanding academic background & passion to work in a high-tech software development environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality
• A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude
