Job summary

Arcesium seeks a Product Lead with deep private credit expertise to build and evolve our Private Credit capabilities. This is an individual contributor role, working closely with Engineering, Client & Partner Development, Sales, and Marketing.

The product spans the deal-close and post-close lifecycle, including deal onboarding, portfolio monitoring, covenant and borrowing-base management, loan administration, reporting, and related workflows. Location: HYD/BLR/GGM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in private credit lifecycle, documentation, and workflows.
• Product management experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial-modeling skills with covenant validation.
• SQL experience and data-driven decision making encouraged.

Arcesium seeks a Product Lead with deep private credit expertise to build and evolve our Private Credit capabilities. This is an individual contributor role, working closely with Engineering, Client & Partner Development, Sales, and Marketing. The product spans the deal-close and post-close lifecycle, including deal onboarding, portfolio monitoring, covenant and borrowing-base management, loan administration, reporting, and related workflows.

What you'll do:

• Execute the Private Credit product roadmap, translating product strategy, client needs, and domain knowledge into requirements and prioritized capabilities.
• Own product definition and design, working with Engineering and QA through development, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Work with clients and design partners to validate product direction and translate recurring needs into scalable capabilities.
• Develop business scenarios, test cases, and validation models to ensure the product handles real-world private credit structures and calculations correctly.
• Take new capabilities from prototype through production readiness and broader client adoption.
• Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Forward Deployed, and Marketing on positioning, demonstrations, client discussions, and go-to-market.
• Contribute to competitive analysis, business cases, and prioritization of R&D investments.
• Prototype workflows, calculations, and automation using AI-assisted coding and modern development tools.
• Define AI-enabled capabilities for interpreting credit agreements, compliance certificates, borrower reporting, trustee reports, and other private credit documents.

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of hands-on private credit experience, with meaningful exposure to the lifecycle, documentation, calculations, and workflows of private credit investments; product management experience is an advantage.
• Strong depth in one or more areas of private credit, with direct lending experience particularly valuable; experience in asset-based finance, structured credit, or adjacent credit strategies is also relevant — spanning unitranche, senior or subordinated lending, delayed-draw facilities, revolvers, asset-based lending, specialty finance, CRE lending, ABS, CLOs, or loan portfolios.
• Working knowledge of covenant monitoring and testing, compliance certificates, breaches, waivers, and amendments; borrowing bases, advance rates, collateral eligibility, concentration limits, and reserves; and loan lifecycle events including drawdowns, paydowns, prepayments, PIK, OID, assignments, and participations.
• Familiarity with cash waterfalls, priority of payments, OC/IC tests, triggers, and portfolio or collateral surveillance.
• Ability to read credit agreements and related reporting and determine what a product needs to capture, calculate, validate, and monitor.
• Strong Excel and financial-modeling skills, including independent validation of covenants, borrowing bases, waterfalls, or similar calculations.
• Ability to work directly with data; SQL experience is strongly preferred, with familiarity in scripting, APIs, or low-code tools an advantage.
• Experience with platforms such as Wall Street Office, Allvue, Solvas, iLEVEL, or similar systems, preferred.
• Experience with generative AI tools for prototyping, or a demonstrated aptitude to use them effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred; CFA, CA, MBA, FRM, or similar qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex credit concepts clearly.
