Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced MongoDB/Data Engineering professional to design scalable data models for banking/product systems in Bengaluru. You will develop and optimize queries, aggregations, and indexing strategies, and integrate MongoDB with microservices and REST APIs.

You will collaborate with Product, BA, and Ops teams, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high throughput and low latency in transaction-heavy environments.

Required Technical Skill Set

1. Strong hands-on expertise in MongoDB (Development + Administration)

2. Experience in:

• NoSQL data modeling and indexing strategies
• Query performance tuning and aggregation pipelines

3. Working knowledge of:

• Java / Spring Boot-based backend services
• REST APIs and JSON-based integrations

4. Experience with:

• High-volume transactional systems / Banking domain (preferred based on base JD context)

5. Exposure to:

• Containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) (good to have)
