Sapiens in Bangalore, India is seeking a Product Implementation Engineer to design, build, and support backend applications for CM9 Product. You will develop secure RESTful APIs, apply microservices patterns, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful Web Services and microservices.
• Knowledge of OOP, software design principles, and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiar with unit testing (JUnit/Mockito) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Product Implementation Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Career Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Java application development with strong expertise in Core Java and web technologies.
• Strong proficiency in the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and development of RESTful Web Services.
• Solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP), software design principles, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise‑grade applications using Java EE technologies.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading and concurrency concepts to build scalable, high‑performance, and resilient applications.
• Hands‑on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.), including query optimization, indexing, and database schema design.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and inter‑service communication using REST APIs.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito, with exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve complex production issues efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications for existing applications and CM9 Product
• Develop secure, scalable, and high‑performance RESTful APIs to support enterprise business applications.
• Build efficient, concurrent, and multithreaded applications to meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Perform code optimization, defect fixing, and continuous improvements to enhance application stability and performance.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product Owners to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Investigate production issues, perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement permanent corrective and preventive solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and deployment guides.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Provide application support by monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs.
