Job summary

Cadence is seeking a senior engineer to identify new DFT and ATPG features, draft product specifications, and drive validation with R&D and PV teams. You will collaborate with field teams to benchmark customer designs and influence tool development to meet market needs.

The role involves supporting Innovus flows and addressing complex hierarchical issues. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in EE/ECE/CS domains, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across geographies.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in EE/ECE/CS with 14+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies; operate with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Modus PE team identifying new DFT/ATPG features and develop product specs.
• Validate features with R&D & PV, develop methodologies and flows to improve usability and quality.
• Collaborate with field to benchmark customer designs for successful deployment.
• Work with R&D to drive development of new tools or modify existing ones to address customer needs.
• Support Innovus hierarchical partition tools and top-level timing closure flow.
• Assist with benchmarks and resolve complex customer hierarchical issues.

Position Description

Skill Required

• Be a part of the Modus PE team in identifying new features in DFT & ATPG domains and developing product spec for implementation.
• Work with R&D & PV teams with validation of said features, Development of methodologies, flows and documentation to help improve usability and quality of the tool
• Collaborate with field to benchmark on customer designs towards successful deployment
• Work with R&D teams to drive and influence the development of new tools, as well as the modification of existing tools to address the needs of customers and market.
• Support existing Innovus hierarchical partition tools and top-level timing closure flow.
• Support benchmarks and solve complex customer hierarchical issues.

Educational Qualification

• B.E/BTech/ME/MTech. in EE/ECE/CS with 14+ Years of relevant experience.
