What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain IoT gateway firmware to automate irrigation, collect sensor data, and integrate with LoRa sensor nodes.
• Lead and collaborate with the team to build and scale cloud applications on Azure to process, store, and analyze IoT data.
• Implement multi‑threading, multiprocessing, caching, and queuing mechanisms to optimize IoT gateway performance in memory‑constrained environments.
• Work closely with product, design, and agronomy teams to create user‑centric IoT solutions.
• Participate in product discovery, prototyping and strategy discussions for IoT‑driven products.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve IoT systems, from hardware integration to cloud analytics.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in software development with Python, IoT gateway firmware programming, NoSQL databases (MongoDB & Redis), Microservices, Docker & Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Hands‑on experience writing firmware logic for automation and real‑time sensor data integration.
• Strong experience with threading, multiprocessing, queuing, caching and memory‑constrained system design.
• Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, including hardware‑software interactions.
• Passion for solving user problems and contributing to IoT product strategy.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
