Job summary

Speed Global in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a Product Engineer - Electrical/Electronics (Wiring Harness) with 2–5 years of experience. You will develop and maintain 2D/3D models and manufacturing drawings using Creo for control panels of engines, gensets, and harness assemblies, and prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

You will manage BOMs, cable schedules, termination schedules, and assembly drawings, support Windchill PLM-based change control, and ensure drawing reviews meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting for control panels or electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Creo (2D/3D) and Windchill PLM.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel design, harness design, and cable routing.
• Experience in BOM preparation, engineering documentation, revision control, and change management.
• Exposure to Industrial, Power Gen, Marine, Construction, Mining, or Automotive contexts preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, and cable routing layouts.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, cable schedules, termination schedules, assembly drawings, and GA drawings.
• Support engineering change management, revision control, and document release processes through Windchill PLM.
• Perform drawing reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards, customer requirements, and quality processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting, preferably in control panels, electrical systems, or industrial equipment.
