Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D IT in Hyderabad, India, seeks Product Engineers to supervise product engineering and shape technical solutions for AI-enabled medical software.

You will lead design and implementation of AI and cloud-based features, collaborate with data scientists and software engineers, and ensure alignment with the technology roadmap while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or similar (Engineering, Math, Physics, IT)
• 2-4 years of proven experience in engineering roles with a focus on AI, generative AI, cloud computing, and automation.
• 2-4 years of proven experience of software development and software engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of AI and generative AI solutions.

The Product Lead Engineer is responsible for supervising product engineering and making software engineering decisions. They fulfill dual responsibilities as both an entrepreneur and implementer of technical solutions. Their responsibilities include ensuring the product's technical architecture, software development aligns with the technology roadmap and adheres to software engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Experience and Skills

• 2-4 years of proven experience in engineering roles with a focus on AI, generative AI, cloud computing, and automation.
• 2-4 years of proven experience of software development and software engineering
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and AI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++. Proficiency in data structures (e.g., Stack, Linked Lists, Trees, Graphs). Familiarity with automation tools and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Analytical, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
