Job summary

Wipro Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a senior product design leader to head the design practice, guiding projects from brief to realization. You will craft world-class designs across branding, product design, and packaging, and deliver assets via Rhino 3D, KeyShot, and Adobe Suite.

You'll mentor mid‑senior designers, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in industrial/product design with 8+ years of hands-on experience and project/team leadership.
• Deep experience with user-centered design methods and design strategy from insights to concepts.
• Experience working at a design agency.
• Expressive ideation and rapid visualization of multiple concepts with iterative refinement.
• Exceptional written/drawn/verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to find creative viable solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio showing product design process from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various Wipro teams to meet timelines and quality expectations including presentations, specs, and CMF requirements.
• Partner with other disciplines to create integrated UX for physical and digital products.
• Present design work in client presentations with a design-focused rationale.
• Create PD-centric business development artifacts, POVs, pitches, and proposals.

What you ll do:

• Lead our product design practice, executing design projects from brief to realization. Consistently create world-class designs from consumer insights and reflection, through concept sketching and prototypes that inspire our teams and clients alike
• Work across a variety of mediums in the design and production of branding, product design, and packaging
• Demonstrate exceptional skills rapidly creating hand and computer sketching to explore concepts, and bringing them to life in 3D using Rhino 3D, KeyShot, and Adobe suite to deliver high-quality, actionable assets
• Excellent time/project management skills in a multi-project fast-paced environment, and a high do-say ratio.
• Manage and mentor mid-junior designers in the art of managing clients, projects, and producing work efficiently using analog and digital applications to a refined level to hand off to our clients and partners
• Work collaboratively across the various Wipro teams and Wipro companies to deliver on timelines and quality expectations of your projects including artifacts such as presentations, specs, and CMF requirements
• Partner with other disciplines to create integrated UX for physical and digital products
• Present your design work in client presentations in strategic terms with a design-focused rationale
• CreatePD-centric business development artifacts, POVs, pitches, and proposals

Qualifications

We would like you to have:

• A bachelors/master s degree in industrial design, product design, or similar educational background.8+ yearsof hands-on work experience in the field including several years of project and team leadership.
• Deep experience with user-centered design methods and design strategy with the ability to turn research insights into feasible design concepts for physical/digital products
• Experience working at a design agency
• A highly expressive ideation and exploration process involving rapid visualization of multiple concepts and iterative pruning and refinement of design directions using different techniques and methods.
• Exceptional written/drawn/verbal communication skills
• Detail-orientation, with ability to seek creative viable solution to any given situation
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
