Aivar Innovations is seeking a product designer to shape agentic AI experiences for enterprise customers. You will partner with product managers, engineers and AI specialists to design intuitive workflows that demystify AI capabilities and enable governance of automation.

You'll conduct user research, prototype novel patterns, and contribute to a evolving design system while collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, nascent space.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We're seeking a talented Product Designer to join our design and product team and shape the next generation of agentic AI systems. You'll partner with product managers, engineers, customer success leaders, and AI/ML specialists to design intuitive, powerful experiences that demystify complex agent workflows and enable enterprise teams to deploy, govern, and optimize intelligent automation.

This role offers a unique opportunity: most designers work on familiar SaaS paradigms. You'll be designing for a nascent space—agent-centric UX—where you'll influence how enterprises understand and interact with AI systems. You'll conduct user research, prototype novel patterns, and push for thoughtful design in a space that often defaults to complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for product features and user journeys. Own the user experience from research through launch, balancing user needs with business constraints and technical feasibility.
• Conduct user research and usability testing with enterprise customers and internal teams. Synthesize insights into actionable design decisions that address real customer workflows.
• Create high-fidelity designs, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma. Communicate design rationale to stakeholders, engineers, and leadership with clarity and conviction.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and quality. Participate in code review conversations, accessibility audits, and post-launch iteration based on user data.
• Design system stewardship. Contribute to and evolve Aivar's design system and component library—ensuring consistency, reusability, and documentation for the entire product ecosystem.
• Partner with Product and GTM teams on positioning. Ensure design decisions reflect product strategy and competitive positioning. Contribute to product narratives and customer-facing artifacts.

Core Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership (research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, testing). Digital products preferred; SaaS experience is a plus but not required.
• Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools. Comfort iterating at low and high fidelity and communicating design intent to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, accessibility (WCAG), and design systems. Experience building or evolving design systems is a plus.
• Experience with user research methods (interviews, usability tests, surveys). Comfort translating qualitative and quantitative insights into design strategy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate design decisions, defend choices with evidence, and adapt feedback constructively.
• Collaborative mindset. Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments where iteration is constant and feedback is frequent.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML product design or complex enterprise workflows (workflows, automation, data, governance).
• Basic familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS) or API-driven interfaces.
• Product management or technical background. Understanding how products are built and sold informs better design.
• Experience designing for enterprise/technical audiences (engineers, data analysts, operations teams).
