Job summary

Genpact in India seeks an Analyst - Business Finance to support annual planning, forecasting, and cost modeling. The role covers consolidation of forecasts, tracking planned vs actual results, and developing plant costing models.

You will generate management reports, KPI narratives, and opportunities for operational improvement, working closely with finance teams to drive analytics, product costing, and performance insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance with budgeting, forecasting and cost management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in SAP, Hyperion and MS Office tools.

• Product costing: variance analysis, set standards, revisions, rate building.

Inviting applications for the role of Analyst - Business Finance!

Business Finance Analysts are responsible for annual planning and forecasting activities, including consolidation and roll-up of forecasts. The role involves tracking and monitoring planned vs. actual results for cost-saving initiatives, preparing plant performance reports, and supporting the development and refinement of new product costing models. Additionally, the analyst is responsible for tracking, measuring, and reporting project efficiencies and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deep Knowledge of Business finance process.
• Maintain strong customer relations & business acumen.
• Budgeting and forecasting Refresh forecasts/planswith actuals & drivers, perform analysis on forecastvariances, Consolidate/roll upforecasts.
• Plant Finance – Create plant performancereporting, Execute ad-hoc plant operations finance requests. Plant Finance management reporting - Track and monitor planned vs. actuals of costs saving initiatives.
• Management Reporting – Collate and validatedata, generate standard management reporting, perform variance andperformance analysis (with commentary & narratives), Prepare KPIs and businessperformance metrics, Develop and refine narratives on business performance, ad hoc reports & analysis.
• Product Costing – Conduct variance analysis vs. prior cost to support setting of annual product costing standards, set annual product costing standards, Analysis & do product costing revisions, Develop and refine new product costing, Prepare Packaging & Ingredient – rate building/revisions,
• Others – Review of CWIP, Develop and perform tracking and reportingof project efficiencies, Prepare quarterly forecast files

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

CMA/MBA/Bachelor/ Master’s in commerce with relevant industry experience with proven experience in Finance

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, PPT, MS word)
• Relevant experience in SAP
• Good Written and Verbal Communication
• Understanding of Hyperion, SAP, budgeting/ management reporting tools.
