Job summary

Credit Suisse in Pune seeks an experienced COO support specialist for the Product Control division. You will prepare monthly reports and presentations, collaborate with L&D on training curricula across all levels, and build metrics on key performance indicators.

You will drive the people agenda for Pune Product Control, analyze staffing, oversee business recovery plans for APAC, and coordinate with IT on transformation projects, while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • 12 years of work experience in Financial Services, COO-focused profile preferred.
  • Professional qualification in administration or management is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Your field of responsibility
Below are the key responsibilities of role
  • Provide ad hoc support to the PC APAC COO /Pune Site Head
  • Prepare regular monthly reports and power-point presentations
  • Work closely with the L&D in developing relevant training curriculum for all levels/functions of Product Control
  • Build and maintain metrics on key operational performance measures
  • Drive the people agenda across the Pune Product Control, including managing internal mobility, graduate recruitment, driving engagement and human capital planning
  • Perform regular analysis of staffing including attrition, recruitment, diversity, internal mobility
  • Manage the Business Recovery Plans for the Product Control teams in APAC
  • Managing all outsourcing impacting PC APAC and oversight of deployment into PC APAC locations
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure successful implementation of transformation projects
  • Act as a SPOC for PC to coordinate any business requirement with all corporate functions in Pune centre

Product Control is skilled team with MBA, CA, Engineers working to support trading activities of the Bank in CFO Organisation.

COO plays a critical part within the broader Organisation in delivery of service excellence to our clients.

Product Control are the Financial Guardians of the Bank's trading activities.

We fulfill this role through
  • Ensuring complete, accurate and timely P&L, Balance Sheets and analysis
  • The independent validation of the value of our trading portfolios
  • Working with the businesses and the new business product groups to evaluate & integrate new products and businesses into our financial environment in a controlled manner
  • The provision of reliable and meaningful financial information to the business managers, external-stakeholders and other relevant internal constituents
  • Implementing controls to detect unauthorized trading or unusual activity and escalating in a timely manner to senior management

Your skills and experience

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven work experience of 12 years in Financial Services industry
  • Working in similar profile of COO in other function will be most preferred
  • Professional qualification in administration or management is desirable but not essential
  • Outstanding attention to detail and willingness to focus on the detail
  • Outstanding skills with Excel and Powerpoint
  • Communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Inclusive-personality, high level of self-confidence in dealing with all levels of staff and working-collaborative with the management team / partner is key to the role
