Job summary

Accenture is recruiting for a Procurement Practice Associate in Gurugram, within its Procurement Operations. The role targets 1 to 3 years of experience and a BCom qualification, focusing on optimizing spend and delivering value across goods and services.

You will join a procurement management team to implement best practices, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliant, efficient transactions while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Go beyond processing purchase orders to help clients derive savings.
• Work as part of a procurement management team handling needs, supplier selection, proposals, negotiations, contracting, delivery and results analysis.
• Analyze and design best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
• Plan implementations based on understanding of technologies and process output measures.
• Provide setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to maximize compliance.

What would you do?

• Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
• You Will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable They are involved in the identification of need finding and qualifying the suppliers requesting proposals negotiating with suppliers contracting delivery and analyzing results
• Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
• Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures.
• Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.
