Job summary

NeetDeep Group in Gujarat is scaling its procurement function to drive cost efficiency across direct and indirect spend. This role leads end-to-end procurement cycles, supplier shortlisting, negotiation, and contract finalization to support manufacturing and operations.

You will develop category strategies, monitor supplier performance with KPIs, and collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations to align procurement with product design, capex plans, and inventory goals while embedding

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end procurement cycles for direct and indirect spend.
• Knowledge of GST, contract law, and ESG sourcing standards.
• Proven ability to develop category strategies and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement cycles - market analysis, RFx, supplier shortlisting, negotiation, contract finalization - for direct materials and indirect services.
• Develop category strategies for key spend areas aligned with production and operational needs.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives; drive cost-down, quality, and delivery compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations to align procurement with product design, capex plans, and inventory goals.
• Implement digital procurement tools and processes (e-procurement, e-auctions, spend analytics) to enhance transparency and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory norms (GST, contract law), and ESG/sustainability sourcing standards.

About The Opportunity

A fast-expanding industrial conglomerate operating across manufacturing, infrastructure, and supply chain verticals in India, we’re scaling our procurement function to drive cost efficiency, supplier innovation, and sustainable sourcing across high-volume B2B operations. As a core enabler of our growth engine, this role owns strategic sourcing, vendor governance, and category strategy for critical direct and indirect spend categories - from raw materials to MRO and capital equipment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement cycles - market analysis, RFx, supplier shortlisting, negotiation, contract finalization - for direct materials and indirect services.
• Develop category strategies for key spend areas (e.g., steel, components, logistics, tools) aligned with production and operational needs.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives; drive cost-down, quality, and delivery compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations to align procurement with product design, capex plans, and inventory goals.
• Implement digital procurement tools and processes (e-procurement, e-auctions, spend analytics) to enhance transparency and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory norms (GST, contract law), and ESG/sustainability sourcing standards.
