A leading energy solutions firm seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement for various commodities. This strategic role involves category performance, supplier management, and executing long-term commodity strategies. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in indirect procurement, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in SAP. This position contributes directly to the company's strategic initiatives and offers opportunities for growth into a Category Manager role.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of hands-on experience in indirect procurement/category management.
  • Mandatory: Strong SAP experience; exposure to Fieldglass is an advantage.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of procurement for assigned S&G categories.
  • Drive sourcing events (RFx, negotiations, supplier comparison, award recommendations).
  • Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with IM & Business priorities.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance KPIs.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across HR, EHS, Admin, Finance.

Role Summary

The Procurement Specialist (S&G) independently manages end-to-end procurement for a defined portfolio of S&G commodities such as Advisory Services, Product & Business Learning, HR/Executive Search, Market Research, Packaging, Office/Factory Supplies, PPE, Waste Management, Temporary Labor, etc.

This is a strategic and operational role, accountable for category performance, supplier management, negotiations, compliance, and execution of long-term commodity strategies. The role demands strong ownership, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and capability to work closely with Business, Finance, Legal, EHS, HR, and global procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. E2E Commodity Ownership
  • pManage the full lifecycle of procurement for assigned S&G categories
  • .Define annual saving opportunities, demand pooling, and category planning
  • .Drive sourcing events (RFx, negotiations, supplier comparison, award recommendations)
  • .Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with IM & Business priorities
  • .Identify challenger suppliers, cost-down levers and innovation options
2. Strategic Sourcing & Contracti
