The Senior Manager, Digital & Process Excellence is responsible for leading process excellence and digital transformation initiatives across Global Supply Chain (GSC). This role owns the development, governance, and continuous improvement of business process management, process intelligence, automation, and digital enablement capabilities that support operational excellence and organizational effectiveness. Working closely with business teams, BIT, and other enabling functions, the role translates business needs into scalable solutions, operating models, and capability roadmaps. Responsibilities include leading transformation initiatives, establishing governance frameworks, advancing process intelligence and automation capabilities, and ensuring adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working across the organization. The ideal candidate combines expertise in business process management, digital technologies, and organizational transformation with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. This individual must be comfortable influencing across organizational boundaries, navigating ambiguity, and driving complex initiatives that deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of Global Supply Chain business process management capabilities, standards, and operating models.
• Own the design, governance, and lifecycle management of enterprise process architectures and process models using BPM methodologies and approved process management platforms.
• Own the delivery, adoption, and value realization of digital and process transformation initiatives across Global Supply Chain.
• Own governance frameworks, intake processes, lifecycle controls, and quality standards that enable sustainable process excellence across GSC.
• Identify, evaluate, and deploy opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, process intelligence, AI-enabled capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve operational effectiveness and business performance.
• Build and scale digital enablement capabilities, including learning resources, knowledge management assets, AI-enabled solutions, and adoption programs that increase organizational capability and effectiveness.
• Own performance measurement and value realization frameworks, including adoption metrics, maturity indicators, business outcomes, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Partners with business teams, BIT, and other enabling functions to translate business needs into scalable solutions, enterprise capabilities, and strategic roadmaps.
• Lead change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, and capability-building activities that support enterprise adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives involving stakeholders across GSC, GPS, BIT, and other enterprise functions spanning multiple geographies and time zones.
• Stay current on industry trends and leading practices in business process management, process intelligence, process mining, automation, AI, and continuous improvement, incorporating relevant advancements into GSC capabilities and roadmaps.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in business process management, supply chain operations, digital transformation, continuous improvement, or related disciplines; life sciences or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading enterprise process excellence, digital transformation, or strategic business initiatives within complex, cross‑functional environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in business process management, process modeling, governance design, operating model development, business analysis, solution design, and value realization.
• Proficiency in BPMN 2.0 process modeling and enterprise process management platforms (e.g., ADONIS, ARIS, Signavio, or equivalent).
• Experience establishing and sustaining process governance frameworks, standards, controls, and lifecycle management practices.
• Familiarity with process intelligence, process mining, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled business capabilities is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, quality systems, and operational excellence principles within a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions, capabilities, and operating models that deliver measurable value.
• Strong digital, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
• Proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries and effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading changes, driving adoption, and enabling large‑scale transformation initiatives through stakeholder engagement, training, and communications.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment, balancing strategic thinking with execution and delivery.
