Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Process Planning & Industrial Engineer – Electrical to lead wire harness process planning within our Gurgaon operations. The role focuses on developing sustainable strategies, writing technical specs, and ensuring safety standards across HV/MV electrical cabinets and related infrastructure.

You will oversee planning for harness manufacturing, document preparation, and production KPIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BE-Electrical/Power Electronics with minimum 5 years of experience in process planning of wire harness and electrical HV/MV cabinets.
• Experience with rolling stock components/locomotives is preferred.
• Based in Gurgaon; willingness to travel within India and abroad as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sustainable strategy and business plan for electrical processes.
• Plan and forecast sales volumes for potential customers in mobility sectors.
• Monitor infrastructure and utilities and manage control systems.
• Prepare technical specifications for M&Ps (methods & processes).
• Plan cabling harness manufacturing and related documents.
• Prepare documents for ongoing build activities and production support KPIs.
• Report issues and PPTs to stakeholders; drive actions to improve productivity year over year.
• Ensure layouts comply with electrical safety standards and implement required measures.
• Train, qualify and validate special processes and personnel for processes such as crimping.
• Plan and execute test philosophy, jigs and fixtures for wire harness testing during manufacturing.

We are looking for Process Planning & Industrial Engineer – Electrical

You’ll make a difference by

• Develop a sustainable strategy and business plan.
• Plan sales volumes for potential customers.
• Infrastructure & Utilities monitoring and control
• Technical Specifications writing for the M&Ps
• Planning for Cables Harness Manufacturing
• Documents preparation for the on-going Build
• Production support and associated KPIs, RFCs
• Issues & PPTs reporting to varied Stakeholders
• Plan & execute actions of WAM measures to achieve productivity targets year on year.
• Ensure Layouts are in line with electrical safety standards & all required measures are implemented.
• Training, Qualifying & validating special process / people for special processes such as Crimping.
• Plan & execute test Philosophy, Test jigs & fixture for wire harness testing during manufacturing.

Desired Skills:

• We are seeking for a BE-Electrical/Power Electronics. Minimum 5 Years of relevant experience.
• Min. 5 years of experience process planning of wire harness & other electrical HV, MV cabinets.
• Experience of working in Rolling stocks components / Locomotive is preferred.
