Job summary

Gps Renewables is seeking a capable plant operator to handle day-to-day plant operations and ensure SOP compliance. The role involves bulk and packed operations, inventory reporting, and coordination with service departments under the guidance of the Shift Engineer and Panel Operator.

Preferred candidates hold a Degree / Diploma in Engineering, ITI or a Science background with 1+ years (or 3+ years for Diploma, 5+ years for ITI/others) of O&M experience in operational plants and a sound

Qualifications

• Day-to-day plant operations and compliance with SOPs.
• Adequate knowledge of process safety procedures.
• Experience in O&M in operational plants is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute operations and safety activities.
• Handle bulk and packed operations.
• Prepare daily inventory reports.
• Coordinate with service departments and shift personnel.
• Ensure safe operation of plant activities and maintain records.
• Provide shift reports and maintain emergency readiness.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution of operations & safely activities
• Responsible of Bulk and Packed Operations.
• Daily inventory report preparation.
• Co-ordinate with service departments.
• Complete responsibility of execution of the operations from field in coordination with the Panel Operator and Shift Engineer.
• Regular Inspection of equipments and daily / monthly report preparation.
• Carrying out bottling operation as per approved SOP.
• Daily housekeeping of the plant area.
• Safe operating procedure should be followed for all the operations in daily basis.
• Overall responsibility for inventory reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues promptly, taking corrective action with cooperation with Shift Engineer and Panel Operator.
• Responsible for protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for People, Plant and environment.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies or unexpected operational issues, coordinating with the appropriate personnel and authorities as needed.
• Provide regular shift reports to Shift Engineer and collaborate with other shifts to ensure a smooth transition of operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Degree /Diploma in Engineering, ITI or Science Graduate is preferred.

• Degree Engineers with 1+ years experience /Diploma with 3+ years experience / ITI and others with 5+ years of overall work experience of O&M in operational plants.
