Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Process/Manufacturing Engineer/Technician in Chennai for developing and validating industrial test tools and production-ready systems. You will collaborate with Vision R&D and production teams to translate requirements into robust test solutions from prototyping through to high-volume manufacturing.

The role emphasizes LabVIEW and TestStand development, C/C++ for tool software, and AI/ML capabilities with PyTorch.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in electronics manufacturing environment (ideally automotive electronics).
• NI LabVIEW Development (2–3 years) with CLD certification.
• NI TestStand Development (2–3 years) – CTD is a plus.
• C, C++ for industrial tools development (2–3 years).
• AI/ML, Python programming, PyTorch experience (1–2 years).
• Experience in test tools development for automotive cameras and lens alignment.
• Exposure to automotive camera manufacturing processes and EOL tests.
• Hands-on with LLMs & Generative AI; knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Drive Test Engineering best practices from prototyping to series production.
• Leverage R&D and production teams to understand project requirements and develop test strategies.
• Develop and deploy industrial test tools and code modules; document High/Low Level designs.

Minimum CLD Certification.❖ NI Teststand Development (2 - 3 Years).
