The Process Innovation Engineer will support establishment, startup and scale-up of the new toothpaste manufacturing facility in India. The role will enable technology transfer from global technical teams, lead manufacturing trials, support equipment and process validation, and build site capability for safe, reliable and consistent operations. Following plant stabilization, the role will transition toward identifying, piloting and implementing process innovation and manufacturing technology initiatives.
B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related core engineering discipline from a reputed institute. 3 – 5 Years of experience in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Personal Care, Food, Pharmaceutical, or a similar manufacturing industry is preferred. Experience supporting Packaging Engineering, Packaging Innovation, Project Engineering, Packaging Development Support, or Manufacturing Operations.
Strong fundamentals in process engineering and controls. Understanding mixing, homogenization, fluid handling, heat transfer, and manufacturing operations. Basic knowledge of equipment qualification, process validation, and quality systems. Ability to analyze process data, troubleshoot problems, and prepare concise technical reports. Effective communication, training, teamwork, and stakeholder-management skills. Learning agility, ownership, and ability to work in a fast-paced greenfield startup environment. Working proficiency in MS Office applications.
Safe and timely startup with ensured quality and ramp-up of new manufacturing processes and equipment. Effective completion of technology transfer, lead-line trial and IQ/OQ/PQ deliverables. Robust and repeatable process performance meeting quality, yield and productivity requirements. Improved technical capability and readiness of operators and engineers before commercial production. Successful implementation and benefit realization of post-startup process innovation and manufacturing technology projects.
