Job Title: IN-IS-01 Project Industrialization (Services)/Process Engineer

Purpose of the job

The Project Industrialization Engineer/ Process Engineer is responsible to industrialize the maintenance, renovation/modernization or warranty activity at the Depot, Repair Centre or Production site(s) in order to secure the production deliverables.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
  • Lead the industrialization of technical documentation, respecting the Standard Manufacturing Process & guidelines, footprint..etc
  • Elaborate the required industrial deliverables: Macro-process, Work Instructions, implementation of the workstations, Bill of Material, Task Sequence and/or Standard Operations Sheet, Method times, definitive Layouts.
  • Implement the Project Make or Buy strategy in all deliverables
  • Provide inputs to Industrial means and tools requirements for project execution activities
  • Define and implement the training plan related to industrial topics and to Special Processes
  • Validate on the field the industrial deliverables, tools and industrial means with maintenance execution (FAI)
  • Respect the Industrial Planning milestones (followed by the IMFU)
  • Understand and support the implementation of APSYS subjects related to Industrial Roadmap
  • Ensure Railway Safety and EHS, AZDP standards are respected
  • Review the maintenance manuals and technical details to ensure effective operational execution.
  • Support depot industrialization activities with site industrial managers.
  • Define layouts as per the requirements of site.
  • Identify the right tools, equipment’s & test benches for process.
  • Define and implement special process like torquing, adhesive bonding, Crimping etc.
  • Actively participate in RCA meeting and support in implementing process improvements.
  • Support in implementing change request by analysing impact and readiness before retrofit impact.
  • Read the electrical schematics convert into necessary work instruction for CM or any activity.
  • Have concurrent engineering for maintainability on requirements.
  • Define technical specifications of Depot equipment, tools etc .
  • Assessment of Equipment interface / battery limits for depot equipment’s, test benches etc.
  • Identify maintenance optimisation strategies.
  • Set up industrial process improvement related to industrial efficiency, quality, safety, Ergonomics, EHS, continuous improvement.
  • Adapt the industrial process and deliverables to project life cycle events such as design changes, obsolescence, maintenance plan optimization, fleet extension, changes in operating modes ...).
  • Integrate the maintenance plan, BOM measuring points with SAP as per industrial requirements.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • BE/Btech – Electrical

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Industrial background with 2 to 5 years’ experience preferably in the railway industry and a total experience of 6-8 years
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings
  • Technical experience of Methods Engineering, writing and improving manufacturing and/or maintenance work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
  • Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.
  • Experience in crimping, harness manufacturing process.
  • Experience in methods definition, VSM, method time optimization, industrialization & technical specification of equipment’s
  • AutoCAD, SAP & Catia knowledge preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing.
  • Ability to deal quickly and effectively with a variety of topics
  • Ability to summarize and focus on the critical issues
  • Effective communication
