Lowe's India in Bengaluru is seeking a legal support professional to assist the US Litigation Team with document collection and evidence preparation. This in-office role operates from 2 PM to 11 PM IST.

Lowe's offers an ultramodern workspace with on-site facilities and a collaborative environment. You will pull data, assemble case summaries, and coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely, accurate production of materials.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 2-3 years experience in multinational/ law firm or legal process outsourcing.
• Experience supporting US litigation teams is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance to U.S. Litigation Team by researching claims and assembling legal documents.
• Navigate claim documents to identify relevant facts and compile supporting materials.
• Manage legal mailbox and route requests to appropriate departments.
• Open/close subpoenas and support legal holds.
• Support with e-discovery and data production.
• Extract data from internal databases for analysis and update tracking tools.
• Communicate with stakeholders to discuss claims and maintain repository.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff for pre-litigation and litigation support.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Create spreadsheets to organize and summarize data.

Job Summary:

This position will provide support to the US Litigation team by identifying necessary documents and electronic evidence for the claims/notices received, pulling data from various internal database, assembling and preparing case summary documents.

Role type - In office

Shift timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to U.S. Litigation Team by conducting research on claims/notices received, assembling legal documents and electronic evidence
• Ability to navigate easily through claim documents to identify relevant facts, collect supporting documents for defense and prepare case summaries
• Handling legal mailbox - responding to requests, transferring to necessary departments and ensuring closure
• Opening and closing of subpoenas related support and legal hold requests
• Support with personal file production and e-discovery
• Pull data from various databases to analyze the claim and enter relevant information in the analysis sheet/tool
• Ability to perform email/phone outreach to relevant stakeholders and engage on discussions related to claims and ensure repository is updated
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other litigation support staff to ensure seamless support in pre-litigation and litigation process
• Working with or providing confidential and sensitive information and exercising discretion concerning its dissemination.
• Creating spreadsheets/documents to organize, display, and summarize data to facilitate analysis

Years of Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience working in Multinational Companies/Law Firms/Legal Process Outsourcing Firms and has provided support with legal/insurance claims

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Bachelor's degree in any field

• Ability to understand legal claim documents, identify required documents to be collected and summarize the matter

Secondary Skills (desired)

Prior experience of supporting the global legal teams (US team) is an added advantage.
