Job summary

KBR in Gurgaon, Haryana, India seeks an experienced Principal Technical Professional Engineer - Process to lead chemical process engineering activities across BED, FEED and DEC, coordinating with clients, EPCs and vendors.

Responsibilities include design basis, heat and material balance, PFDs, P&IDs, PDS, safety analyses, and process simulations using Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus; site startups and troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of chemical/process engineering experience.
• Experience in BED, FEED and DEC project stages.
• Site experience including pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup.
• Exposure to polymer/plastics technologies (PE/HDPE/PP) is an advantage.
• Experience with licensor/process technology organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of Design Basis, Heat & Material Balance (HMB), PFDs, P&IDs and UFDs.
• Process simulation and modelling using Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus.
• Equipment sizing and preparation/review of PDS for vessels, pumps, exchangers and other equipment.
• Review of EPC/vendor deliverables for compliance with licensor requirements.
• Participation in PFD/P&ID reviews, HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews.
