Job summary

UKG, the Workforce Operating Platform, is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Noida, India. You will lead design, development, and deployment of complex software systems and mentor junior engineers in a hybrid work setup.

You will work across front-end, platform, back-end and AI/ML domains, driving quality, performance, and observability while partnering with product management and operations. A strong cloud/DevOps background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 15+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in one or more languages: C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of software development practices and design patterns.
• Experience with GitHub and Jira in a DevOps/Agile environment.

Utilize service health indicators and telemetry for action providing recommendations to optimize performance. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and drive the implementation of measures to prevent future recurrences.• Platform Model: Understanding of working in a DevOps Model.
