Job summary

Eurofins Genomics in Bangalore, India seeks a Principal Software Engineer with 7+ years of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) experience to support and optimize the existing environment. The role involves coordinating with third‑party vendors to ensure smooth operation and migration to centralized D365 solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for D365 F&O environment including configuration analysis and troubleshooting.
• Analyze issues in core D365 F&O modules and coordinate with vendor for resolutions.
• Act as liaison between Eurofins Genomics and external vendors; monitor incident resolution and changes.
• Support finance, procurement, inventory and supply chain users; document interfaces and processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to design, test, and deploy system changes and hotfixes.
• Monitor integrations, data imports/exports, APIs and middleware; maintain technical docs.

Role Overview

Eurofins Genomics is seeking a Principal Software Engineer experienced (7+ years) on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and preferably someone who also has experience working with third party vendors to provide support for the existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment.

The role will serve as the key liaison between Eurofins Genomics, internal stakeholders, and the external vendor until the migration to the centralized D365 solution is fully completed. The role requires strong functional and technical understanding of D365 F&O, excellent stakeholder management skills, and prior experience coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for the existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment, including configuration analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification
• Analyze and resolve issues related to core D365 F&O modules
• Act as the primary liaison between Eurofins Genomics and the vendor
• Coordinate and monitor incident resolution, system changes, and enhancement requests
• Support business users in finance, procurement, inventory, and supply chain functions
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to design, test, and deploy system changes, hotfixes, and enhancements
• Monitor and support integrations between D365 F&O and surrounding applications, including data imports/exports, APIs, and middleware interfaces
• Review and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, interface specifications, and support procedures
• Provide technical guidance to business users and internal IT teams on system capabilities, limitations, and best practices.

• Solid understanding of finance, procurement, inventory, and supply chain modules
• Proven experience working with third-party vendors and support partners
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience in application support, business process analysis, and change coordination
• Good documentation and communication skill.

• Familiarity with regulated environments such as life sciences or laboratory services
