The Role

As a Principal Software Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our Java applications. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers and developers across various layers of our infrastructure. Your expertise in software development, coupled with your commitment to high-quality design and collaborative problem-solving, will be essential to our success.

What You Will Do

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable Java applications that support our product offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance complex features.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for software development to ensure high standards of quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 12 years of professional experience in Java development.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven).
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for technology and innovation.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.

It’s A Bonus If You Have

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern web development practices and tools.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven, Microservices and Hexagonal Architectures.
• Experience working in a Scrum / Agile environment.
• Expertise in DevOps and Continuous Delivery / Deployment.
