Global Execution Services (GES) Technology builds and maintains software solutions used by agency-model execution business (Instinet) of the Nomura Group. Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategy for trading and analytics platforms.
• Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical mentorship and career development.
• Design test automation frameworks focusing on performance, reliability, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with trading desk, users, and development teams to understand business requirements.
• Develop performance test packs for latency analysis and capacity planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools.
• Participate in UAT processes with users and key stakeholders for front‑to‑back initiatives.
• Proactive analysis of incidents to implement preventive measures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10‑12 years of software QA experience, strictly in financial services.
• Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Hands‑on with GitLab, Jenkins/GitLab CI.
• Hands‑on experience in AI/ML/GenAI‑backed test practices.
• Experience testing APIs and data pipelines.
• Good understanding of global financial markets, trading systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID II, Reg NMS, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of organization.
• Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
